For garments containing 50% or more cotton, Stahls’ recommends applying at a temperature of at least 280°F. Always perform a test press before beginning a full production run, as heat presses, fabrics, dyes, and garment coatings can vary.

Layering Instructions

For a two-color or layered design:

1. Press the background layer for 2–3 seconds.

2. Peel the carrier hot.

3. Position the foreground layer.

4. Press the completed design for the full 12-second application.

5. Peel hot.

Place the material on the cutting mat with the carrier side facing down. Mirror your design before cutting and always perform a small test cut first.

Application Steps

1. Create and mirror your design.

2. Place the HTV carrier-side down on your cutting mat.

3. Perform a test cut.

4. Cut your design.

5. Weed away the unwanted vinyl.

6. Preheat the garment briefly to remove moisture and wrinkles.

7. Position the design with the carrier facing upward.

8. Press using the recommended time, temperature, and pressure.

9. Peel the carrier hot.

10. Allow the garment to cool before wearing or washing.

Care Instructions
