When to Use xTool Cleaning Fluid

Light Cleaning

Recommended approximately once per week or whenever mild clogging is present.

Move the print head to the left and open the side plate. Using the bottom reflector for visibility, gently clean the print head with a clean cloth or swab lightly moistened with cleaning fluid.

Important: Avoid contact with the cutting blade while cleaning.

Deep Cleaning

For more severe or stubborn print-head clogs, move the print head to the processing area and apply cleaning fluid to the ink pad.

Return the print head to the ink stack and allow it to soak for approximately 30 minutes. After soaking, use the printer's ink-extraction mode to drain the pad before performing a test print.

Ink-Stack Area Maintenance

The ink-stack area should also be checked regularly—approximately once per week or whenever visible residue appears.

Use a clean cloth or swab moistened with cleaning fluid to carefully wipe the ink scraper and remove pigment buildup around the ink pads.
